Hello and welcome!  My name is Mrs. Ruiz and I teach 6th grade math, both regular and advanced.  This is my 11th year here at RTMS and I have enjoyed spending all 9 years working with the 6th graders.  I graduated with my degree in education with a specialization in mathematics from Northern Illinois University.  In 2010 I decided I wanted to further my education and got a degree in educational technology from DeVry University.  You will see my love of using technology throughout my lessons, classroom activities, and sometimes even homework assignments.
